Strategy, branding, and web design that reflect the quality of your work.

From the big picture down to the last detail

Most of my clients come to me because they’ve outgrown their online presence. Sometimes the brand no longer represents who they are. Other times the website has become unmaintainable. You have something legitimate to offer, but you don’t have the design to communicate that to the world. This is my process to fix that:

  • One

We start with the big picture: who are you? Who is your audience? What challenges do you face as a business? This is the foundation that will inform every design decision for your entire project—now and in the future.

  • Two

Then, we ideate. This includes everything from serious research to playful doodling. I organize the information. I translate the abstract DNA from the foundation to a concrete look and feel for buildout.

  • Three

Finally, we get down to the last detail: execution so that the final product “just” works. The result: no more mismatch between what’s happening on the inside and how you look on the outside. Something that feels like you.

Designer's head shot

Hi, I’m Thomas

(that’s pronounced similarly to Spanish Tomás)

Twenty-five years ago, I learned HTML from a photocopied book my brother gave me for a long car ride. That was in my home country of Belgium. Since then, I’ve been a teacher, a translator, and a musician. I’ve learned to listen. I’ve learned to distill the essence of a message. I’ve built my own e-commerce brand in the drumline niche.

Today, those experiences flow into my practice as a designer and developer. I love helping e-commerce brands, non-profits, and artists discover who they are and then showing that to the world.

If you’re ready for your next chapter, I’d love to hear from you.
